artwork of two sheep on a rainbow

A rainbow is only an arc because we stand on the ground, we would see the full circle if we flew up into the air.

Rainbows are not singular but many – they are fact but only visible from the viewpoint of the viewer.

The equation of the rainbow gives an approximate answer.

There is no rain outside this atmosphere.
