Tiny, bright green pillows of moss with star tipped fronds are soft as velvet. Blooms of pale jade lichen take decades to grow. Sage green sheets with rumpled edges in fantastically complicated growth (I fear that if I take my eyes off them or slow down time they’d walk right away.) Remind me of the astonishing sea plants that I am told are actually animals and only look green because the water filters off the red light first.
Above the birds tinkle all of a sudden, like cascading bells chiming all at once.
