Making Marmalade (Fine Art Print)

Image of Picture 'Making Marmalade' by Philomena Harmsworth

Washing, chopping, squeezing, slicing, depithing, bagging, boiling, all on an old wooden board, and into a big old pan. This lengthy process with these surprisingly beautiful jewels of sunshine, the Seville orange, was a glorious way to spend a cold January day snug indoors with my adventurous generous aunt. We talked as old friends and her indulgence in salty stories are always a wave of comfort and fun. The result was bitter, caramelised, warm and buttery and glowing golden in beautiful rows of glass jars in an all-encompassing aroma of Marmalade.

These limited edition artist’s prints are collector’s items, each one is 1 of 100, they are made using light fast ink on artist quality, acid free paper to the standard of the Guild of Fine Arts, titled and signed by the artist. That means, the image will not fade in the light, nor will the paper brown. The image is 27 x 34.4cm and comes: simply the print, in a card board tube at £65, The print in a luxuriously thick card mount and framed in a warm white frame for £145.
